Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited received reaffirmation of its credit ratings from four major rating agencies — India Ratings, CARE, CRISIL, and Brickwork — on 13th June 2025. All long-term instruments were reaffirmed at the highest investment grade of 'AAA' with a stable outlook, covering NCDs, subordinate debt, and market-linked debentures across all agencies. Short-term commercial paper ratings were also reaffirmed at the highest tier of 'A1+'. The total rated amounts span over ₹4.5 lakh crore across instruments. Brickwork noted a small reduction in its rated amount from ₹2,200 crore to ₹2,125.68 crore due to redemption of some NCDs, indicating partial debt repayment.
This reaffirmation at AAA with stable outlook signals strong financial health, low default risk, and continued investor confidence in the company. For shareholders, it means borrowing costs are likely to remain favorable, and the stock is unlikely to see negative price action from rating concerns.
