The Board of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 28 per share (280% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM on 6 August 2025. This is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 65 per share (650%) already paid in October 2024, taking total FY25 dividend to Rs. 93 per share. The record date to determine eligible shareholders is fixed as Friday, 27 June 2025, and the dividend will be credited on or before 15 August 2025. The board also approved audited FY25 results — standalone profit after tax of Rs. 1,291.83 crore (vs Rs. 2,896.46 crore last year, the latter boosted by a one-time Rs. 1,153.47 crore buyback profit from Bajaj Auto). Additionally, the company is seeking RBI approval to reclassify itself as an Unregistered Core Investment Company, and it has authorised acquiring up to 19.95% stake each in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance as part of the Bajaj Group's plan to take 100% ownership of these JVs.
Shareholders holding shares by 27 June 2025 will receive the final dividend of Rs. 28 per share, boosting total FY25 returns to Rs. 93 per share. The stock may see positive sentiment around the record date, though the higher prior-year base (which included a large one-time buyback gain) makes year-on-year earnings comparison less favourable.
