Redington Limited's Board of Directors approved the re-appointment of Mr. S V Krishnan as Finance Director (Whole-time Director) for a fresh term of five years from May 13, 2026 to May 12, 2031. Mr. Krishnan, a Chartered Accountant with over 28 years at Redington, was instrumental in the company's 2007 listing and oversees investor relations. The re-appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. Concurrently, the board approved audited FY2026 results showing standalone revenue of Rs. 63,801 crore (up 30% YoY) but standalone PAT declined to Rs. 1,244 crore from Rs. 1,444 crore in FY2025. Consolidated revenue reached Rs. 1,19,162 crore with PAT of Rs. 1,284 crore (down from Rs. 1,821 crore), impacted by a Rs. 152 crore impairment charge on Arena Turkey. A final dividend of Rs. 6 per share (300% face value) was also recommended.
The re-appointment ensures continuity in financial leadership and investor relations management. However, the decline in profitability despite revenue growth, coupled with the Turkey subsidiary impairment, may concern investors about margin pressures.
