Regent Enterprises' board, at its meeting on August 13, 2025, approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Revenue from operations surged to Rs. 23,867.08 lakh, up roughly 63% from Rs. 14,607.21 lakh in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) rose to Rs. 164.17 lakh from Rs. 99.29 lakh in the year-ago quarter, a ~65% jump, translating to EPS of Rs. 0.49 vs Rs. 0.30 earlier. The previous quarter (Q4 FY25) had posted a loss of Rs. 290.89 lakh, so the swing back to profit is notable. The board also approved the revised notice for the 31st Annual General Meeting. Statutory auditor Pipara & Co LLP issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Strong YoY recovery in both top line and bottom line should be viewed positively by shareholders. However, results are unaudited, the company operates in a single segment (edible oil trading), and the jump follows a loss-making Q4, so sustainability of the earnings rebound will be the key thing to watch.
