Reliance Infrastructure has issued a reminder to shareholders whose dividends from FY2017-18 (paid on 21 September 2018) have remained unclaimed for seven consecutive years. Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013 and the IEPF Rules, both the unclaimed dividend amount and the underlying equity shares are set to be transferred to the IEPF Authority after 23 October 2025. Shareholders have until 23 October 2025 to claim their dividends by submitting an application to the company's Registrar and Transfer Agent, KFin Technologies Limited, after which the transfer will happen automatically with no further notice. The company has already published this notice in the Financial Express (English, all editions) and Navshakti (Marathi, Mumbai edition) on 23 July 2025, and has also uploaded details to its website www.rinfra.com and the MCA portal. Shareholders who miss the deadline can still reclaim their shares and dividend later by applying to IEPF via Form IEPF-5.
This is a routine regulatory reminder and not a material corporate event — it will not affect the stock price. Shareholders holding RELINFRA shares with unclaimed FY2018 dividends should act before 23 October 2025 to avoid having their shares and dividend moved to the IEPF Authority, from where recovery is more cumbersome.
