Reliance Infrastructure Limited has disclosed that 3.35 crore outstanding warrants have lapsed along with the application money paid on them. The warrants failed to be converted into equity shares within the mandated 18-month period. This follows the company's earlier communications on the matter dated October 25, 2024 and June 18, 2025. As a result, no new equity shares will be issued against these warrants, and the company does not receive the conversion proceeds it may have expected. The lapsing reduces potential future dilution for existing shareholders.
No immediate share dilution will occur for existing shareholders, which is marginally positive. However, the lapsing also means the company has not received the anticipated capital that warrant conversion would have brought.
