Relic Technologies reported widening losses for FY25, with standalone net loss nearly doubling to ₹171.87 lakhs from ₹89.24 lakhs in FY24, on revenue of ₹166.32 lakhs (vs ₹153.31 lakhs). Q4 FY25 was particularly weak with standalone revenue crashing to ₹15.50 lakhs from ₹38.20 lakhs in Q4 FY24. Total expenses surged to ₹346.49 lakhs (from ₹253.10 lakhs), driven mainly by higher other expenses and employee costs. On a consolidated basis (including newly acquired Truhealthy Wellness, acquired in March 2025), net loss was ₹148.74 lakhs on revenue of ₹197.59 lakhs, with ₹232.12 lakhs of goodwill on consolidation. Operating cash flow was negative at ₹(36.64) lakhs consolidated and ₹(203.67) lakhs standalone, though cash balance rose sharply to ₹709.79 lakhs due to ₹622.19 lakhs in share application money from a preferential issue of 15.5 lakh shares at ₹85 each.
Persistent and widening losses, negative operating cash flows, and a sharp Q4 revenue decline point to continued pressure on core operations. However, the company has raised fresh capital via a preferential share issue and completed a subsidiary acquisition, which bolsters the balance sheet but does not address the underlying profitability concerns. Shareholders should view this as a loss-making company in transition, not a turnaround yet.
