Repro India Ltd has completed the sale of its leasehold rights in a non-operational property located at Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, Mahape, Navi Mumbai. The property admeasuring 14,093 sq. mtrs (Plot No. 50/2) was sold to STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited for a total consideration of Rs. 282 Crores. The transaction was completed on May 22, 2026 upon execution of the Assignment Deed. The entire consideration has been received by the company. The property contributed zero revenue as it was non-operational. The company clarified this is not a related party transaction, and the buyer is not part of the promoter or group companies. Proceeds will be used for debt reduction and strengthening the balance sheet.
The sale provides Rs. 282 Crores in cash inflow with no operational disruption since the property was non-revenue generating. This should improve the company's debt position and financial flexibility, which is positive for shareholders.
