Restaurant Brands Asia reported strong FY26 results with India revenue up 15.4% to INR 22,717 million and Company EBITDA up 33.2% to INR 1,324 million. Gross margin improved to 69.0% (+1.3% YoY) driven by menu mix and supply chain efficiencies. The company added 68 net new stores to reach 581 restaurants, while same-store sales growth accelerated to 6.3% in Q4 FY26 (highest in 12 quarters). Indonesia operations remain challenging with revenue declining 5.5% and continued losses. However, consolidated Company EBITDA turned profitable at INR 750 million from a loss of INR 370 million last year. The company set targets of 60-80 new restaurants annually and 70% gross profit margin by FY29.
Strong operational execution with margin expansion and accelerating SSSG signals improving business quality. The shift to profitable delivery model and cost efficiencies are positive for shareholders. However, Indonesia continues to drag consolidated performance and investors should monitor turnaround progress.
