Resubmission of Outcome of the Board meeting and approval of Unaudited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for the Quarter ended 30 th June 2024

Alka Securities has resubmitted its Q1 FY25 (June 2024) unaudited financial results to BSE after fixing a clerical error in the format of the Auditor's Report, which did not comply with the SEBI-prescribed format. The numbers themselves are unchanged. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹2.50 lakhs from ₹11.15 lakhs in the same quarter last year, while the company posted a profit after tax of ₹0.77 lakh versus ₹2.32 lakh in Q1 FY24. On a consolidated basis, the company slipped into a loss after tax of ₹0.49 lakh compared to a profit of ₹2.32 lakh last year, though profit attributable to equity shareholders was a marginal ₹0.12 lakh. The auditor (PSV Jain & Associates) issued an unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The resubmission is purely a procedural/format correction with no change in financial numbers, so it should not affect the stock price. However, shareholders should note the steep YoY revenue decline, negative consolidated PAT, and continued negative other equity (accumulated losses of around ₹948–952 lakhs), which point to weak business performance and a stressed balance sheet.
