Retail space leasing across top 8 Indian cities grew 18 percent year-on-year to 2.4 million sq ft in the June quarter, up from 2.04 million sq ft a year ago. High streets accounted for 48.7 percent share at 1.17 million sq ft, while fashion led category-wise demand at 28.2 percent followed by F&B at 17.2 percent. Cushman and Wakefield noted tighter vacancies, firmer rentals, and broader leasing momentum driven by sustained consumer demand.
