Retina Paints reported a strong jump in full-year revenue to ₹20.62 crore in FY25, up about 77% from ₹11.66 crore in FY24. Profit after tax nearly doubled to ₹1.30 crore versus ₹74.24 lakh a year ago, with EPS rising to ₹0.85 from ₹0.54. The company raised additional equity of ₹10.74 crore through a preferential allotment of 14 lakh shares at a premium of ₹66.75 in October 2024. Trade receivables more than doubled to ₹23.65 crore, which is a notable working-capital stretch. Operating cash flow remained deeply negative at -₹10.79 crore (vs -₹8.57 crore last year), even as the company is debt-light with a D/E of about 0.26.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth is a positive signal for shareholders, supported by clean audit and no exceptional items. However, surging receivables and continued negative operating cash flow mean earnings are not yet translating into cash, which could pressure liquidity if the trend continues.
