Lords Chemicals Ltd has revised its earlier intimation about the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Narsaria as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent), effective 12th June 2025, to correct a typographical error in his DIN number (corrected to 07766779). Along with Mr. Narsaria, the Board also appointed Mrs. Neha (DIN: 11143488) as Additional Independent Woman Director at its 11th June 2025 meeting. Both directors have been appointed for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval at the next general meeting. The company clarified that the DIN error was unintentional and clerical in nature.
This is a routine administrative correction and does not change the substance of the board changes. For shareholders, it means two new independent directors will be joining the board once shareholder approval is obtained, which should strengthen board independence and gender diversity.
