The Board of Richfield Financial Services Ltd (BSE: 539435) approved unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, along with the 33rd AGM notice and the Board's Report for FY25. Statutory auditor A John Moris & Co. issued an unqualified Limited Review Report. Total income rose to about Rs. 199.72 lakh in Q1 FY26 from Rs. 145.69 lakh in Q1 FY25 – roughly 37% growth. However, total expenses climbed even faster to around Rs. 213.18 lakh, which dragged down profit before tax to Rs. 9.74 lakh versus Rs. 13.50 lakh in the same quarter last year. Basic EPS stood at Rs. 0.13 (vs Rs. 0.14 in Q1 FY25) and paid-up equity capital is Rs. 750.02 lakh. No investor complaints were pending at quarter end.
Top-line grew strongly year-on-year, but rising expenses outpaced revenue, causing a dip in profit and EPS – a mild negative for shareholders in the short term. Given the small absolute profit base and modest EPS, the stock reaction is likely muted unless expenses are reined in.
