The Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q3 FY26 (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations for the quarter was Rs 3,123.92 lakhs (vs Rs 3,189.66 in Q3 FY25), while standalone PAT fell sharply to Rs 886.05 lakhs (vs Rs 2,662.85 in Q3 FY25). On a nine-month basis, standalone revenue jumped to Rs 20,194.52 lakhs (from Rs 7,468.59), but PAT declined to Rs 5,112.98 lakhs (from Rs 8,413.52). On a consolidated basis, Q3 PAT swung to a loss of Rs 128.62 lakhs (vs profit of Rs 1,904.44 in Q3 FY25 from continuing operations) due to weak trading and wind energy segments and Rs 167.92 lakhs loss from discontinued paper operations. The auditor (Batliboi & Purohit) issued an unqualified review report with an Emphasis of Matter on a Rs 308 lakhs income tax dispute and on the subsidiary's discontinued paper division which recorded a Rs 6,956.48 lakhs impairment in the prior period.
Mixed to negative for shareholders — Q3 consolidated results turned to a loss on weak segment performance and discontinued operations drag, despite strong nine-month revenue growth. Ongoing tax litigation and SEBI matters remain overhangs, though the company has substantial unallocated investment assets (over Rs 1.28 lakh lakhs consolidated) providing balance sheet strength.
