Rishiroop Ltd reported weak Q2 FY26 results with total revenue from operations of ₹1,765.77 lakhs, down about 15.8% from ₹2,096.91 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For the half year (H1 FY26), revenue from operations fell to ₹3,531.99 lakhs versus ₹3,858.00 lakhs in H1 FY25, an 8.4% decline. Net profit for Q2 FY26 collapsed to just ₹22.37 lakhs (EPS ₹0.24) from ₹824.26 lakhs (EPS ₹9.40) a year ago, mainly dragged by a ₹195.78 lakhs loss on fair valuation of investments against a ₹634.90 lakhs gain last year. H1 FY26 net profit was ₹867.17 lakhs versus ₹1,440.68 lakhs in H1 FY25, a decline of roughly 40%. The statutory auditor (Jayesh Dadia & Associates LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report on the results.
Sharp YoY drop in both revenue and profitability, primarily due to negative fair valuation of investments this quarter versus a large gain last year, is a negative signal for short-term shareholder sentiment. However, core operations remain profitable and the clean auditor opinion provides some comfort.
