RITES Limited, a Government of India railway consultancy enterprise, announced its audited financial results for Q4 and FY25 on May 14, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations fell to Rs. 2,095.31 crore in FY25 from Rs. 2,312 crore in FY24, a decline of about 9.4%. Standalone profit after tax dropped to Rs. 380.22 crore from Rs. 454.11 crore (down ~16%), with EPS at Rs. 7.91 versus Rs. 9.45. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 423.66 crore. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.65 per share (26.5%), taking total FY25 dividends to Rs. 7.55 per share including three interim dividends already paid. The board also appointed Shri Rajbir Sharma as an Additional (Independent) Director for three years. Operating cash flow improved significantly to Rs. 558 crore from Rs. 314.5 crore.
Lower top-line and bottom-line numbers reflect a weak year, but the strong dividend payout (~76% payout ratio on standalone PAT) and a big jump in operating cash flow offer comfort to income-focused investors. The stock may see muted reaction due to the earnings decline, though dividend yield remains attractive for retail holders.
