RMC Switchgears held an Analyst Day to discuss FY26 results and future strategy. Consolidated revenue grew 26.4% YoY to Rs. 401.59 crore, but margins were pressured by execution delays, input cost inflation (steel, copper, aluminum, silver) and PulseBox product development investments. The company swung from a Rs. 7.07 crore loss in Q3 to a Rs. 9.3 crore profit in Q4, helped by improved execution and cost control. Unexecuted order book stands at Rs. 850+ crore with a tender pipeline of Rs. 1,500+ crore, and management reaffirmed the aspirational Rs. 5,000 crore revenue target by FY30. Management showcased PulseBox, an IoT-based distribution transformer monitoring product targeting an estimated Rs. 50,000 crore+ addressable market, with one utility having advanced discussions to tender specification stage. Trade receivables rose from Rs. 148 crore to Rs. 205 crore and operating cash flow turned negative, which management attributed to most billing happening in March 2026.
The strong order book and Q4 recovery signal improving execution momentum, but rising receivables and negative operating cash flow are near-term concerns for shareholders. Management hinted at promoter family buying the stock in coming months, though they declined to comment on the recent sharp decline in share price, offering little near-term comfort on valuation.
