Roopa Industries Limited (BSE: 530991) reported audited results for Q4 and FY25 with a strong jump in revenue from operations to ₹12,068.70 lakhs, up about 71% from ₹7,042.62 lakhs in FY24. Profit after tax rose roughly 34% to ₹203.49 lakhs (vs ₹151.91 lakhs), pushing EPS to ₹2.57 from ₹1.95, and total income for the year reached ₹12,298.35 lakhs. The statutory auditor, Yelamanchi & Associates, issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results, and Q4 standalone PAT stood at ₹41.80 lakhs on revenue of ₹2,983.27 lakhs. However, operating cash flow turned sharply negative at -₹659.36 lakhs (versus +₹200.98 lakhs in FY24) because of a large build-up in inventory and receivables, and EBITDA margin compressed to about 5.2% from 7.8% even as total borrowings climbed to around ₹3,326 lakhs against equity of ₹1,749 lakhs (D/E ~1.9x). The board also appointed Geeta Serwani & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years from FY26 to FY30.
Top-line growth and higher profits are positives, but the swing to negative operating cash flow, thinner margins, and rising debt signal working-capital stress that investors should monitor closely in coming quarters.
