Roto Pumps' Board approved Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to Rs. 5,202.79 lakhs from Rs. 3,866.01 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 34.6%. Net profit after tax grew to Rs. 556.77 lakhs from Rs. 455.90 lakhs. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs. 8,303.05 lakhs with PAT of Rs. 629.67 lakhs. The Board approved investing up to Rs. 10 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary Roto Energy Systems Limited (solar pumps business) and completed acquisition of the remaining 25% stake in Roto Pumps Africa Pty Ltd, making it a 100% step-down subsidiary. Cost and Secretarial Auditors were appointed/re-appointed, and two new General Managers were inducted for UK and Australia operations. The 50th AGM is fixed for September 29, 2025.
Strong standalone Q1 performance with over 30% revenue growth is positive for shareholders, though the disclosure of an embezzlement fraud (approx. Rs. 600 lakhs) at the Africa step-down subsidiary — which led to restatement of FY25 consolidated figures — is a material concern. Management expects full recovery, but investors should monitor the ongoing investigation and restated numbers closely.
