Ruchit Jain of Motilal Oswal suggests AXIS Bank, Genus Power shares to buy for the short term

Indian benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex rose about 0.95% and 1.27% respectively in noon trade, led by banking and financial heavyweights. Ruchit Jain of Motilal Oswal recommends buying Axis Bank around Rs 1,375 with a target of Rs 1,440, and Genus Power Infrastructures in the Rs 340-344 range with a target of around Rs 372 in the near term. The Nifty is consolidating between its 20 and 100 DEMA, with a breakout above 24,200 potentially pushing it towards 24,500.
