Rupee rises 35 paise to 95.64 against US dollar in early trade

The Indian rupee appreciated by 35 paise to 95.64 against the US dollar in early trade, after gaining 54 paise on Monday. A weaker dollar index (down 0.06 percent at 101.31) and positive equity market sentiment supported the currency. Meanwhile, Brent crude eased 1.43 percent to USD 87.10 per barrel amid easing US-Iran tensions, while Sensex and Nifty opened marginally higher.
