Rushil Decor reported FY2026 consolidated revenue of Rs. 8,622 million (down 4.0% YoY) with EBITDA of Rs. 801 million (down 22.6%) and PAT of Rs. 64 million (down 86.7%). Q4 FY2026 showed improvement with revenue of Rs. 2,309 million and EBITDA margin recovering to 12.4%. The company faced challenges including a fire incident at its Andhra Pradesh MDF facility, elevated resin prices, and global geopolitical uncertainties impacting exports. However, domestic operations performed well with India MDF revenue growing 12.5% and India Laminates revenue growing 21.0% YoY. Management announced price increases of ~15% for MDF and ~10% for Laminates effective April 1, 2026 to combat input cost inflation. Jumbo Laminates business is ramping up with exports to Russia, Portugal, Slovakia, Romania, Israel, and Latin America. The company achieved Net Debt-to-Equity improvement from 0.53x in FY24 to 0.39x in FY26 through deleveraging.
The results reflect a challenging year with margin compression, but Q4 shows sequential recovery in profitability. The announced price increases and focus on value-added products (targeting 60% of MDF revenue from premium products in FY2027) could help restore margins. Export expansion in Jumbo Laminates offers long-term growth potential but requires patience given longer approval cycles in international markets.
