S H Kelkar and Company Limited has informed the Exchange regarding Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for FY 2024-25

S H Kelkar and Company, India's largest home-grown fragrances and flavours company, filed its annual Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for FY 2024-25 as part of its Annual Report, covering the period April 2024 to March 2025. The company reported a standalone turnover of ₹1,120.81 crore and net worth of ₹733.57 crore, with 100% of revenue from fragrances, aroma ingredients and flavours, serving customers across 28 states and 8 union territories. Key ESG initiatives include a 360kWh solar power plant at the Vashivali facility (reducing 30% of electricity needs), rainwater harvesting of 5,000–5,500 kilolitres annually, and achieving Zero Liquid Discharge at the Vashivali plant. The report identifies six material ESG issues—GHG emissions, energy management, water management, human rights, workforce health & safety, and supply chain management—with mitigation steps in place. Notable operational points include a sharp rise in related-party transactions (sales RPTs jumped to 45.1% from 23.9%, purchases RPTs to 43.4% from 27.6%) and an increase in customer complaints to 175 from 105, though all were resolved by year-end.
