S. M. Gold Ltd has filed its Annual Report for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, along with the notice for its 8th Annual General Meeting scheduled for September 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM via video conferencing. Total income rose to Rs. 87.93 crore from Rs. 63.22 crore in the previous year, a growth of about 39%. However, net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 56.98 lakh from Rs. 1.19 crore, a decline of roughly 52%, and EPS dropped to Rs. 0.57 from Rs. 1.19. The board has not recommended any dividend for the year. Shareholders will also vote on the reappointment of Managing Director Pulkitkumar Sureshbhai Shah, the appointment of M/s. Shah Karia & Associates as new statutory auditors for five years (replacing the previous firm which underwent a demerger), and the appointment of M/s. Neelam Somani & Associates as secretarial auditors for five years.
Mixed signal for shareholders — strong top-line growth but sharply falling profits point to significant cost pressure or thin margins, which is a red flag for a small-cap. No dividend this year reduces income appeal. Investors should watch margin trends closely and attend the AGM on September 29 to ask questions on cost discipline.
