Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Limited reported a Q3 FY26 turnover of Rs. 411 crores, down from Rs. 449 crores in Q3 FY25, an approximate 8.5% year-on-year decline. However, for the nine months ended December 2025, turnover rose to Rs. 1,235 crores from Rs. 1,063 crores in the same period last year, a growth of about 16%. The company opened five new stores during the quarter (one Kanchipuram Varamahalakshmi Silks store and four Valli Silks stores). Year-to-date, the company has added 11 new stores spanning 54,522 sq. ft. across both formats, continuing its retail expansion strategy.
The Q3 sequential slowdown in revenue, despite strong year-to-date growth, may raise concerns about near-term demand or store ramp-up challenges. However, the continued aggressive store expansion signals management's confidence in long-term growth, though near-term margins could be pressured by new store opening costs.
