Saint-Gobain Sekurit India, through its Registrar MUFG Intime India, has sent a reminder letter to shareholders who still hold shares in physical form, asking them to update their KYC details (PAN, address with PIN code, mobile number, bank account details, and specimen signature) on a priority basis. The action follows SEBI circulars dated May 7, 2024 and June 10, 2024, under which dividends will be paid only via electronic mode to physical folios with missing KYC details from April 1, 2024 onwards. Shareholders are also urged to convert their physical shares into demat form, since transfer of physical shares has been disallowed since April 1, 2019. Forms ISR-1 and ISR-2 are available on the company and RTA websites, and submissions can be made in person, by post, or via e-sign.
This is a routine regulatory compliance communication and does not affect the company's operations or financials. Shareholders holding physical shares should update KYC promptly to avoid delays or stoppages in receiving dividend payments.
