Sakthi Sugars has signed an Assignment Agreement with S3G Debt Management to assign (sell/transfer) a receivable of Rs. 25,219.69 Lakhs (about Rs. 252 crore) owed to it by Sakthi Auto Component Limited. This is a continuation of a prior disclosure dated 30 October 2025. The company states that S3G Debt Management is not related to the promoter or promoter group, no special rights are granted, no shares will be issued, and the transaction is not a related-party transaction. The deal is purely a one-time assignment of an outstanding debt owed to Sakthi Sugars.
This move helps Sakthi Sugars convert a stuck receivable of roughly Rs. 252 crore into immediate or near-term cash, which can improve liquidity and reduce the burden of chasing payment from a group entity. For shareholders, this is a positive working capital event, though the final price realised on the assignment will determine the actual gain or loss on the books.
