Sakuma Exports Limited submitted its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, approved at a board meeting on August 13, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹31,928.36 lakhs from ₹52,042.48 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a decline of about 38.6%. Standalone net profit dropped to ₹133.96 lakhs (from ₹454.76 lakhs), with EPS at ₹0.01 versus ₹0.01. On a consolidated basis, revenue declined nearly 49% to ₹37,566.74 lakhs (from ₹74,064.08 lakhs) and net profit fell to ₹165.18 lakhs (from ₹568.59 lakhs). The statutory auditor M.L. Sharma & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results. The board also approved the appointment of M/s Ramesh M Sheth & Associates as the new statutory auditor for a five-year term (FY 2025-26 to 2029-30), subject to shareholder approval, and reappointed the internal auditor and an independent director.
Sharply lower revenue and profits year-on-year signal weak Q1 performance and margin pressure, which is likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the short term. Additionally, a change of statutory auditor ahead of the new fiscal year may draw investor attention, though the current review report carries an unqualified opinion.
