JSW Energy Limited informed that its step-down subsidiary Beempow Energy Private Limited has ceased to be a subsidiary with effect from 6th June 2025. The remaining 51% stake in Beempow, held via O2 Power SG Pte. Ltd. (acquired earlier by JSW Neo Energy), has been transferred to EPIC Green Urja Private Limited and schemes of Infrastructure Yield Trust. The total sale consideration for the 100% stake is Rs. 302.658 crores. Beempow contributed Nil revenue (0%) to JSW Energy in FY25, so there is no material impact on the company's income statement. The buyers are independent third parties and not related to the promoter group.
The divestment is largely neutral for shareholders — JSW Energy receives Rs. 302.66 crore in cash without losing any meaningful revenue, and its subsidiary structure simplifies slightly.
