Salem Erode Investments' Board approved the unaudited standalone results for Q3 FY26. Revenue from operations was Rs 81.89 lakhs, marginally higher than Rs 81.10 lakhs in the same quarter last year. However, nine-month revenue fell to Rs 279.39 lakhs from Rs 296.51 lakhs, a decline of about 5.8% year-on-year. The company reported a net loss of Rs 125.77 lakhs for the quarter, slightly improved from Rs 136.33 lakhs a year earlier. The nine-month net loss narrowed to Rs 344.82 lakhs from Rs 351.31 lakhs. Employee costs rose sharply to Rs 97.80 lakhs (from Rs 75.17 lakhs), while finance costs dropped significantly to Rs 44.36 lakhs (from Rs 71.93 lakhs). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified review report.
The company remains loss-making, though losses are narrowing marginally. With rising employee costs and overall revenue contraction, shareholders see no near-term path to profitability, which is a negative sentiment for the stock.
