Salguti Industries Ltd reported full-year revenue of Rs 1,087.82 crore, up 24.7% from Rs 872.18 crore in the prior year. However, the company swung to a net loss of Rs 13.21 lakh for FY2026 compared to a net profit of Rs 16.17 lakh in FY2025. EBITDA turned negative at Rs (27.67) lakh for the year despite positive EBITDA a year earlier. Q4 alone showed a net loss of Rs 28.44 lakh. Long-term borrowings increased from Rs 1,869.49 lakh to Rs 2,186.75 lakh. Cash flow from operations was Rs 487.69 lakh, supported by a large reduction in inventory and trade receivables. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications.
Revenue grew strongly but profitability deteriorated sharply, raising red flags about cost structure. The company now has debt-to-equity of approximately 5.5x, which is high. Shareholders should watch for margin recovery in FY2027, as the current trajectory is negative despite sales growth.
