Salora International reported its Q1 FY26 results, with revenue from operations falling to Rs. 2,741.38 lacs from Rs. 3,198.80 lacs in the same quarter last year — a decline of about 14%. Total income stood at Rs. 2,906.66 lacs versus Rs. 3,229.18 lacs a year ago. The company turned profitable at the bottom line, posting a profit after tax of Rs. 4.31 lacs compared to a loss of Rs. 38 lacs in Q1 FY25, aided by lower purchases and a jump in other income to Rs. 159.59 lacs. EPS for the quarter was Rs. 0.05 versus a negative Rs. 0.43 previously. The statutory auditor (O P Bagla & Co LLP) issued a limited review report with an un-modified opinion, and related party transactions (notably sale of finished goods worth Rs. 1.81 crore to Devi Electronics Pvt. Ltd) were separately certified. The Board also fixed 24th September 2025 as the AGM date.
After multiple quarters of losses, Salora has returned to profitability, but top-line continues to shrink and the company still carries large deferred tax assets of Rs. 2,214.94 lacs whose realization depends on future profits — investors should watch whether revenue stabilizes and whether the turnaround sustains in coming quarters.
