Salzer Electronics reported FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹1,758.38 crore, a 23.98% increase over FY25 (₹1,418.33 crore). Q4 revenue grew 26.19% YoY to ₹474.14 crore, driven by higher demand in Industrial Switchgear, Wires & Cables, and Building Products divisions. However, profitability margins compressed significantly - EBITDA margin fell to 8.36% in FY26 (down 108 bps from 9.44%) due to higher input costs and scaling expenses, and further to 6.59% in Q4. PAT grew only 2.49% to ₹53.77 crore in FY26, while Q4 PAT actually declined 4.14% to ₹10.47 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of ₹2.50 per share. The company also signed an MoU with Finland's Wirepas for smart electricity meter technology integration.
Revenue growth above 23% demonstrates strong operational performance and market demand, but margin compression and slow PAT growth (2.49%) despite 24% revenue growth signals rising cost pressures that are squeezing profitability. Shareholders may see limited near-term upside in earnings despite top-line strength.
