Salzer Electronics reported standalone revenue of Rs 1,71,519 lakh for FY26, up 24% from Rs 1,38,293 lakh in FY25, driven by strong performance in electrical installation products. However, standalone Profit After Tax declined 13.5% to Rs 5,383 lakh from Rs 6,226 lakh, impacted by higher material costs and finance expenses. Basic EPS fell to Rs 30.44 from Rs 35.30. The company recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (25%). Consolidated PAT (owners) grew marginally by 4.1% to Rs 5,294 lakh. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Two subsidiaries are going for voluntary strike-off but this does not affect the group's going concern status.
Despite strong 24% revenue growth, the PAT decline signals margin pressure from rising input costs and finance charges. The clean audit and dividend announcement provide some comfort, but the working capital stress (inventory up 27%, trade payables to MSME more than doubled) warrants monitoring.
