Salzer Electronics reported FY2025-26 standalone revenue of Rs 1,715.19 Cr, up 24% YoY from Rs 1,382.93 Cr. However, standalone PAT declined 13.5% to Rs 538.32 Cr from Rs 622.58 Cr, impacted by higher material costs and finance expenses. Consolidated revenue rose 24% to Rs 1,758.38 Cr with PAT marginally up 2.5% at Rs 537.73 Cr. The Board recommended dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (25%). Statutory auditors issued unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Two subsidiaries (Salzer Kostad EV Chargers and Salzer Emarch Electromobility) are being struck off and prepared on non-going concern basis, though the Group remains a going concern. The 41st AGM is scheduled for September 12, 2026.
Revenue growth was strong at 24% but profit declined due to cost pressures, which may concern investors seeking margin improvement. Dividend payout is modest. The strike-off of two loss-making EV subsidiaries is a positive cleanup.
