The Board of Sam Industries met on 14 November 2025 and approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2025. Revenue from operations rose about 25% YoY in Q2 to Rs. 423.04 lakhs (H1 FY26: Rs. 650.14 lakhs vs Rs. 608.49 lakhs). Profit after tax for Q2 came in at Rs. 220.33 lakhs (up ~36% YoY) and H1 PAT jumped sharply to Rs. 381.87 lakhs from Rs. 150.16 lakhs, translating to an H1 EPS of Rs. 3.44. A large share of the profit boost came from non-operating items — Rs. 119.53 lakhs from remeasurement of investments at fair value and Rs. 225.78 lakhs net gain from sale of long-term investments.
Strong headline PAT growth is supportive, but investors should note that the H1 surge is materially helped by investment-related gains (FVTPL and sale of long-term investments) rather than core operating performance. Appointment of an additional Independent Director and committee restructuring are governance positives; the Postal Ballot seeks shareholder approval for the new director.
