Sambhv Steel Tubes reported its highest-ever quarterly performance for Q1FY26, with revenue of INR 5,586 Mn (up 69% YoY, 13% QoQ), EBITDA of INR 727 Mn (up 58% YoY, 51% QoQ), and PAT of INR 334 Mn (up 35% YoY, 103% QoQ). EBITDA margin expanded to 13.02% from 9.73% in Q4FY25, supported by a shift toward high-margin value-added products like CRFH pipes, SS CR coils, and galvanized coils & pipes. Total sales volume rose to 92,706 MT, while ROCE stood at 22.6% and working capital cycle improved to 21 days. The company secured CTE approval to double GP coils and stainless steel CR coils capacity to 116,000 MTPA each, and its Kesda greenfield expansion (1.20 MMTPA in 3 phases, Phase 1 in FY27) advanced with successful environmental public hearing. Debt/EBITDA improved to 1.8x post-IPO deployment of proceeds toward debt reduction.
Strong headline growth and improving margins reflect successful product-mix shift, while capacity expansion and debt deleveraging position the company for sustained earnings growth. The quarter should be viewed positively by investors, though the modest YoY EBITDA margin compression warrants monitoring.
