The Sandesh Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 43,782.03 lakhs for FY26, a significant increase of about 50% compared to Rs. 29,234.32 lakhs in FY25. However, profit after tax declined to Rs. 6,740.29 lakhs from Rs. 7,745.66 lakhs in the previous year, representing a 13% decline. The Q4 FY26 showed a loss of Rs. 3,427.46 lakhs despite strong revenue of Rs. 21,039.61 lakhs. The company declared a dividend of Rs. 5 per equity share (50%). Exceptional items included profit on sale of assets (Rs. 39.19 lakhs) and statutory impact of new labour codes (Rs. 241.13 lakhs). Operating cash flow was negative at Rs. 14,385.60 lakhs, driven largely by a massive increase in inventories and investments. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Despite strong revenue growth, the company saw PAT decline and negative operating cash flow, which could raise concerns about profitability conversion and liquidity management. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide some comfort to shareholders.
