Sangal Papers Ltd has informed BSE that it will temporarily shut down its paper manufacturing factory at Village Bhainsa, Mawana, UP, starting from 3rd February 2026. The shutdown is planned for the expansion and replacement of its power turbine, upgrading capacity from 3MW to 4.5MW, along with upgrades to other machinery. The company expects to resume operations within 30 days of the shutdown. Management has stated that while production will be affected during this period, the impact on customer supply is expected to be minimal.
This is a short, planned operational halt for capacity expansion. Shareholders should view it as a routine upgrade that could improve future efficiency and output capacity, with limited near-term disruption to revenue.
