Sanofi India announced that Mr. Arjun Thakkar has resigned as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective close of business on 30th September 2025, to take up a role in the Ethics & Business Integrity department within the Sanofi group. The Board has appointed Mr. Haresh Vala as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective 1st October 2025. Mr. Vala is an Associate Member of ICSI with over 20 years of experience in corporate secretarial, governance, and compliance functions. He will also be designated as a Key Managerial Personnel and authorized to determine materiality of disclosures to stock exchanges.
This is a routine internal succession at the KMP level with no negative governance implications — the outgoing CS is moving to another role within the Sanofi group, and a well-qualified replacement is being appointed seamlessly. Shareholders are unlikely to see any material impact on the stock price.
