Sanstar Ltd reported full-year revenue from operations of Rs. 784.63 crore, down from Rs. 957.45 crore in the prior year, representing an 18% revenue decline. Net profit for FY2026 stood at Rs. 34.45 crore versus Rs. 43.80 crore in FY2025, a decline of about 21%. However, Q4 showed a strong sequential recovery with net profit of Rs. 20.49 crore against just Rs. 5.52 crore in Q4 FY2025. The company spent Rs. 146.18 crore on capital expenditure (including Dhule plant expansion), funded by its IPO proceeds of Rs. 361.54 crore which were fully utilized. Property, plant and equipment nearly doubled from Rs. 191.51 crore to Rs. 424.43 crore. The statutory auditor issued an 'Unmodified Opinion' with no qualifications. New secretarial and internal auditors were also appointed for FY2026-27.
The full-year revenue and profit decline is a concern, though Q4 performance shows strong recovery, possibly indicating an improving trajectory as the Dhule plant expansion nears completion. The clean audit opinion and full utilization of IPO funds for capex are positives for shareholders.
