Sanstar Limited reported Q4 FY26 revenue of Rs. 2,168 million with PAT of Rs. 205 million (9.5% margin), up 271% YoY. Full year FY26 revenue was Rs. 7,846 million, down 17.7% YoY, with PAT of Rs. 345 million (4.4% margin). The company commissioned its Dhule expansion to 1,250 TPD, becoming India's second-largest maize-based specialty products manufacturer with total capacity of 2,350 TPD. A derivatives facility at Dhule is expected to be commissioned in FY2026-27. Exports contributed Rs. 2,657 million (34% of revenue) across 34 countries. The balance sheet strengthened with net debt at Rs. (37) million from Rs. (937) million in FY25. FY2026 was a transition year impacted by pricing pressure from Chinese starch exports in H1, but H2 showed recovery in operations and margins.
The strong Q4 recovery with PAT margins improving to 9.5% and completion of the Dhule expansion positions Sanstar for better profitability in FY27 as the derivatives facility comes online and value-added product mix improves.
