Saptarishi Agro Industries reported a strong quarter with net sales of ₹2,242.80 lakhs in Q2 FY26, up about 37% from ₹1,631.71 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the half year, net sales nearly doubled to ₹4,044.64 lakhs versus ₹2,230.19 lakhs in H1 FY25, driven mainly by trading activity in Gujarat and a new Jodhpur trading segment. The company swung from a loss of ₹70.56 lakhs in Q2 FY25 to a profit after tax of ₹178.62 lakhs in Q2 FY26, with EPS of ₹0.53 versus negative ₹0.21 a year ago. However, operating cash flow remained negative at -₹154.42 lakhs, and other equity is still in the red at -₹2,225.59 lakhs, reflecting past accumulated losses. The auditor (Mayur Shah & Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
The sharp revenue jump and return to profitability are positive for shareholders, showing operational improvement. However, negative operating cash flow, persistently negative other equity, and rising borrowings (total ~₹2,611 lakhs against equity of ~₹1,178 lakhs) suggest financial fragility despite the headline turnaround.
