Saregama India has published a newspaper advertisement informing shareholders about a special one-year window (5th February 2026 to 4th February 2027) for re-lodging physical share transfer requests that were rejected or returned prior to April 2019. This is pursuant to a SEBI circular dated 30th January 2026. The transfer requests will be processed through a transfer-cum-demat mode — meaning shares will be transferred and issued only in dematerialised (electronic) form. Shares issued under this window will be locked in for one year from the date of registration and cannot be transferred, lien-marked, or pledged during that period. Shares already transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) are not eligible. Shareholders must have an active demat account to participate and can submit requests to the Company or its RTA, MUFG Intime India Private Limited.
This is a routine regulatory compliance notice with no direct impact on the company's financial performance or stock price. It is a shareholder facilitation measure — primarily benefiting investors holding old physical share certificates who missed the earlier demat deadline of April 2019.
