Saregama India's board, at its 15 May 2025 meeting, approved the audited Q4 and FY25 results with an unmodified (clean) opinion from statutory auditor B S R & Co. LLP. Consolidated FY25 revenue from operations jumped 46% to Rs. 1,17,136 lakhs (from Rs. 80,300 lakhs), while net profit rose about 3% to Rs. 20,424 lakhs; standalone revenue grew 33% to Rs. 1,00,921 lakhs with nearly flat net profit of Rs. 20,330 lakhs. The Music segment stayed the largest at Rs. 62,484 lakhs, while Events (Rs. 28,523 lakhs) and Video (Rs. 19,198 lakhs) saw sharp year-on-year growth. The board also appointed M/s. Alwyn Jay & Co. as Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year term (FY26-FY30), subject to shareholder approval, and approved an updated Insider Trading Code. An interim dividend of Rs. 4.5 per share (450%) was paid during the quarter, and operating cash flow jumped to Rs. 33,120 lakhs from Rs. 9,325 lakhs.
Strong topline expansion and a sharp rise in operating cash flow signal healthy business momentum, though margin pressure in Video continues. The new appointment relates only to the Secretarial Auditor (not the statutory auditor, who continues unchanged) and is a routine governance item, not a red flag.
