Sasken Technologies reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹273.53 crores, up 84.8% sequentially and 121.7% year-on-year, lifted sharply by the April 2025 acquisition of Borqs International Holding Corp which contributed a new 'Product Solutions' segment of ₹96.83 crores. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) was ₹100.06 crores, down 13% QoQ and 43.4% YoY, with PAT margin at 3.7% and EBIT margin at 2.0%. Total order book for the quarter stood at $51.7 million, including $27.4 million from new business, with 7 new client logos added. The company has now split reporting into two segments — Software Services and Product Solutions — after previously operating as a single segment. Statutory auditors MSKA & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The Borqs acquisition has significantly inflated Sasken's topline but has compressed margins due to integration costs and the lower-margin nature of the product solutions business. Shareholders should watch how Borqs synergies and margin recovery play out over the next few quarters, as standalone business PAT also declined about 38% YoY.
