Satin Creditcare's wholly-owned subsidiary Satin Growth Alternatives Limited (SGAL) has received SEBI registration for its debut fund, SGAL-Scheme 1, a INR 200 crore Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The fund was approved on April 13, 2026, and is targeting its first close as the next milestone. SGAL-Scheme 1 focuses on Inclusion, Sustainability, and Impact themes, with an emphasis on women-led and women-focused businesses. The fund offers quasi-equity/debt instruments with an average ticket size of INR 4–5 crore (up to INR 10 crore), leveraging SCNL's existing presence across 550+ districts for grassroots-level deal sourcing. The fund will be led by Ms Shivika Sethi, a Partner with around 14 years of experience managing $100 million funds. Chairman Dr. HP Singh highlighted the fund's alignment with innovation, women empowerment, and inclusive growth.
This launch diversifies Satin Creditcare's business beyond microfinance into asset management, potentially creating new revenue streams through its subsidiary while supporting its broader mission of financial inclusion and women empowerment.
