Saven Technologies reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 451.82 lakhs, up about 19% from Rs. 378.97 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Total income rose to Rs. 536.83 lakhs from Rs. 390.39 lakhs, helped by a Rs. 72.02 lakhs one-time gain from redemption of mutual fund units included in other income. Net profit jumped sharply to Rs. 136.04 lakhs (from Rs. 47.02 lakhs), translating to EPS of Rs. 1.25 vs Rs. 0.43 a year ago. Total expenses increased to Rs. 328.36 lakhs from Rs. 255.75 lakhs, mainly due to higher employee and other costs. The auditor (Suryanarayana & Suresh) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The headline profit growth looks very strong, but a large chunk of it comes from a one-time mutual fund redemption gain rather than core operations. Underlying revenue growth is healthy at ~19%, though just shy of the 20% mark, and cost growth is outpacing revenue, which investors should watch. Overall, a positive quarter on the surface but underlying quality of earnings is mixed.
