Savera Industries' board approved its Q1FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) unaudited financial results, reporting revenue from operations of ₹2,207.53 lakhs, up about 23% from ₹1,793.43 lakhs in Q1FY25. Profit before tax jumped to ₹667.71 lakhs from ₹358.80 lakhs a year ago, helped by a one-time exceptional gain of ₹219.33 lakhs from the sale of a land parcel in Chengalpattu District. Statutory auditors S. Venkatram & Co. LLP issued a clean (unmodified) limited review report. Separately, the board approved opening a new restaurant in Thoraipakkam, Chennai under the franchise brand 'Andhra Tiffin Room' owned by Amaravathi Restaurants Pvt Ltd, with an investment of up to ₹60 lakhs and a 6% royalty on monthly turnover.
Strong YoY growth in revenue and profits is a positive signal for shareholders, though a large chunk of profit came from a one-time land sale. The new franchise deal diversifies the company into the restaurant business, but investors should note that Amaravathi Restaurants is a related party (four common promoters), so deal terms and arm's-length pricing will be worth watching closely.
